Welcome to Friday Racing! As the weekend approaches and the Yukon is at hand, the excitement heats up and the half-way point of the 2013 Iditarod is just around the corner.
Pete and the Team arrived into Shageluk at 3:58am with Musher Nicolas Petit who had been closing on Team Kaiser through the night. Arriving in a solid 6th position, there are 6 teams within an hour of each other in this small group close to the front.

Pete and the Team are resting presently in Shageluk with several other mushers as they prepare to move onto the Yukon and head North towards Kaltag.
