On the Gweek and On the Run!

Howdy Race Fans! Welcome to Tomorrow!!
Pete and the Team are on the Gweek River headed for the Finish Line! Riley Dyche has closed another .5 mile in the last hour. The Teams are now almost exactly two miles apart.
Looking at the clock and looking at the times, I’m thinking we are nowhere near 1:30am as previously suggested. (It’s easy to get excited and I’m ALWAYs off a little early!! Haha) The tracker has a new feature – Project called “Projection” on the Leaderboard. It is “projecting” Pete crossing the finish line at 2:55am. I think that is a bit off- But here goes!
Pete has been averaging 8.66mph. He is 18.2 miles out at this point. That would be just about 2 hours from now. So that would put a finish at around 2:10 or so. But that also means, as you know, that you need to get on the go to the Finish Line with about 45 minutes to spare!!
Now the thing to consider is that if the two teams start to go in Sprint mode, the last miles could go quicker and arrive sooner! Don’t be late!!
Whooee! I’m exhausted from pressing the refresh button!!
Weather is outstanding for this great finish. Set your clocks if you are in Bethel. Kuskokwim 300 Sled Dog Race will have a live Finish on Facebook, so if you can’t make it, be sure to tune in and “Virtually” cheer Team Kaiser!
