Good Evening Race Fans!
I hope you are ready for a wild one on the Kuskokwim River tonight!
Well, the field is set for the top 5 and beyond in the 2025 Kuskokwim 300 Sled Dog Race!
The order isn’t quite ironed out yet to be sure and the top 3 Teams are really neck and neck.
Here it all is in a nutshell. Pete was into Tuluksak first with a great time. Riley Dyche was in second 20 minutes later. Cody Strathe, however, had really good times and was gaining on both of them. Now Cody does have 35 minutes to make up over the next 50 miles, but we all know how things can change in a heartbeat.
Wanna see something impressive? Take a look at Robinson Racing Kennel Emily having a GREAT race!! The race for the top 5 is also very exciting!
Mike Williams Family Kennel Jr. is 9 minutes in front of Hunter Keefe and 17 minutes in front of Emily.
The coolest thing happening to night is that the top 5 Teams should be across the finish line within an hour of the Winner!
Whew! It’s going to be pretty cool to see that for sure!
Get some rest, I know Pete and the Team are. They can leave at 9:15pm tonight and then it’s a sprint to the Finish Line!
