Yes, please have your voice heard on this one! We rely on public broadcasting for essential service, including emergency broadcasting. Case in point, the tsunami warnings issued after the earthquake in Japan–not for western Alaska this time –thank goodness–but if it were to be us, we’d turn to KYUK, KDLG, KOTZ, KBRW to figure out [...]

Lance makes a great, gracious 4 time winner, doesn’t he? We’re heading for Nome on Wednesday, we’ll be there for Mike Jr and Pete’s finish on Thursday, and Quinn’s too. The boys from the bush have raced fine races and we look forward to seeing them in Nome. Been loving the pictures from the trail, thanks to all you cub reporters.
