KOTZ is should be covering the finish live.

Just got off the phone with Cindy Andrecheck. Pit Crew Kaiser had some mechanical problems, but are standing by at the finish line. 10 minutes to the finish! Pete is leading and expected to win! WAHOO!

Heck of a race in the Kobuk 440 right now, Pete Kaiser with a 8 minute lead over Ken Anderson and Chuck Schaeffer only 14 minutes behind Ken. John Schandlemeir and Cindy Barrand rounding out the top 5. Teams should finish before noon tomorrow morning with only 90 miles to go from Selawik to Kotz. Will be a good race to the finish!

Update from Kobuk 440 is that Pete led the pack out of Ambler this morning at 8:56am. On the heels of team Kaiser is Ken Anderson who was hot on our tail in the Iditarod as well. Go Team Kaiser!

Last big race of the season started at 4:40 PM today in Kotzebue.

Race will finish on Sunday morning 4/17 and throughout that day.
