Sorry Folks! After an entire day of photos, I finally gave out. But not before staying around to see Mike Williams Jr. almost catch Mitch Seavey into the Finish Line. Mike Jr. left White Mountain almost 3 hours after John Baker and Mitch Seavey. By Safety Mike and his Team had closed the gap to less than 30 minutes. As Mitch Seavey crossed finish line, there was Mike Jr. less than 90 seconds behind. It was a truly great effort and Mike’s 8th place finish is truly one to savor. Had there been another mile in the race, I think Mike would have passed him. In the end, Mike Williams Jr. comes in 8th place and his family’s best yet.
Mike’s Mom and Dad, Mike Sr. and Maggie, were visibly proud with tears in their eyes as he crossed the line. Team Kaiser congratulates Mike for an epic run. Go Team Williams!!

Congratulations Pete and the Team – NOME – IN 3/14 02:06:23 – 10dogs – 9Days 11Hours 6Minutes 23Seconds to finish in 5th place. Here are the photos from the Finish. The Bethel Fans made up for their number by their boisterousness.
Thanks to the Klejka Family for watching the dogs, handling for Team Kaiser, and all kinds of other duties. While Pete, Ron, Janet, and Jen are all up in Nome to see the finish, someone has to watch the dogs. The Klejka Kids always step up to the plate. Thanks to Jessica, Jeremiah, and Jesse and everyone!
Team Kaiser Fans are patiently waiting for Pete and the Team to arrive into the Finish Line in Nome. Thanks to Bob and Sherrie Madden and their awesome hospitality, we have a great place to stay right on Front Street. The Finish Line and the famed Burled arches fill the front window.
Pete is just through Safety, so we are anticipating a Team Kaiser finish just after 2:00am this morning. Until then, we wait.
Go Team Kaiser!
Team Kaiser Fans are the absolute best. Take a look at all of the photos we recieved during the race! Thank You Race Fans!
