Team Kaiser was honored to be chosen to be the Make-A-Wish foundation Iditarider this year. Connor was our rider this year and he really enjoyed himself and we were so happy to be a part of his Iditarod Experience!

Pete and the Team gave him a ride he won’t soon forget and made sure that everything was just right for the experience. The weather cooperated and the whole day was fantastic.

About Connor-

Connor

Connor loves to build and play with Legos, and his favorite show is Lego Ninjago. Connor loves swimming, relaxing in hot tubs and playing video games.
Connor has heard stories about the Iditarod since he was a young boy, and he likes to watch movies about dogs with his sister, especially the show “Snow Buddies.”
Connor is thrilled to be able to ride in the 2014 Iditarod.
Special thanks to Donlin Gold for making this experience possible.

About Make-A-Wish-

Since 1986, Make-A-Wish Alaska has granted Alaskan wishes to more than 500 children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. This year, the local chapter will grant about 30 wishes, and an additional 30 wishes to kids from across the US who wish to visit Alaska as part of their wish. According to a 2011 U.S. study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed believe a wish-come-true can influence the health of children. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illnesses, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family.
