- Mackey wins fast Iditarod March 17, 2010Lance Mackey won his 4 consecutive Iditarod sled dog race in a time of 8 days 23 hours 59 minutes and 9 seconds. How fast was the field in this year's race? Paul Gebhardt came into Nome in 9 days 20 hours 31 minutes, and 1 second - good enough for 19th place. That time would have won the 2009 race (won of course by none other then Lance Mackey). […]
